Volcano Communications Group Reaches Out To ACCF
Helping Support Amador Community College Foundation
Support is what a community is all about. Reaching out to individuals and businesses in a combined effort to reach their goals is just one of the many ongoing traditions that Volcano Communications Group is pleased to be a part of. Serving on the board of ACCF is Frank Leschinsky of Volcano Communications Group. He takes his knowledge of technology to great heights and shares it among businesses and organizations who are seeking ways to improve their presence in the community.
The ACCF is dependent on donations to operate. All of the tuition money that is paid by the students goes directly to the college that originates the class. Classes at the ACCF are either web-based or telepresence.
Web-based classes are held at the Amador County Health & Human Services Building in Martell and the telepresence classes are held at the Amador County Transit Center in Sutter Creek. On November 16, 2013, a fundraiser was hosted for the ACCF and was held at Gold Country Auto Restoration in Martell. The Event was called "Going Gatsby Gala" and raised $22,000 for higher education for Amador County.
